A piece of my artwork was accepted for a local art show today. I'm damned surprised. "It is my pleasure to inform you that your recent submission to the Art Institute of Jacksonville Gallery has been accepted for our upcoming show, “Art That Goes Bump In The Night” – the First Annual Dark Art Show. The artwork we would like to show is: “Grief Has No Name” - wow.

I remember taking that shot - I actually stood on top of a headstone to do it. I was in Albany, NY... the statue was so weathered you could barely see her features... and that made her all the more macabre. Who'd have thunk someone would think it nifty artwork?
